It has been another wonderful and productive week at the Dancing Goat Farm. This week besides taking care of all the chickens and quails I was able to put new roofs on several of the larger chicken coops. This project was important to me because the new roofs now offer the chickens more shade and better protection from the elements. Also this week Pam and I started to move and introduce the larger and older chicks that were born this spring into their new flocks. There are still another fifty chicks at different stages of their development that we are raising on the farm and I look forward to also watching them grow up. Helping raise the chicks this spring has been a great experience for me. The pictures is of me visiting with one of the older naked neck turkeys. Well I will be at the farm all weekend so check back soon for more stories, pictures and information from the City Boy on the Farm.
