Chico the Man

It was foggy and overcast this morning at the Dancing Goat Farm. All the chickens, quails and goats seemed happy because it had cooled down a little bit. After I did all of the cleaning, feeding and egg gathering I took time to visit with the rescue cats as well as my special friend Chico the Man. Chico is a two year old Fancy Rooster that Pam held for a year until the day came when he was supposed to go home but his owners told Pam they didn't want Chico anymore and that she could do whatever she wanted with him. Well Pam's heart is so big that once she got the news about Chico she decided to let the farm be his forever home without any hesitation. It is hard not to feel bad for Chico being left behind for a year and then being left behind forever but he is better off here at the farm with his three wives and all his friends. I always make sure I spend time with Chico whenever I am at the farm and I tell him how special he is and let him know he will always have a home.
