Checking in on the Chickens

It has been a good week so far at the Dancing Goat Farm and all the animals are doing well. Pam and I got to finish a hay bin we were building at the back of the barn and now it is easier to get to the hay as well as to store a roll there. Also we got one new rescue cat from the National Humane Society. We take their cats that need to be socialized and we give them a loving environment so they can get used to people and then eventually be adopted. Also I made sure I took a few moments to visit with the chickens that live in the large enclosures at the front of the farm. These chickens are very familiar with me and always welcome me with no problems or issues. Since I was visiting I also took time to hand out snacks as well as check all the chickens to make sure everyone is alright. Well I will be back at the farm again tomorrow so check back soon for more pictures and stories from the City Boy on the Farm.
